if you had a reason for taking them then just tell them. i took some before a drug test once because i had fallen and hurt my back 2 days earlier. i showed them my bruises and said i took my mom's perscription and they took a picture for my file and said ok. the test cam back dirty but since i had a good reason for the drugs in my system and because i was upfront about it, i didnt get in any trouble.

possibly, but there is a better chance you will fail...
if you have a prescription from a legal doctor to prove they were taken under medical supervision and a signed statemet from that doctor...they have to accept the fail as a pass with legal proof..
I just went through the same thing this past week, it took 5 days but my fail for opiates was overturned and I was released to pass today...
ps..they dont just look for the illegal street drugs these days, they now look for prescription opiates, sedatives, barbituates, etc..
I am a licensed CPhT/STNA/CNA... I deal with this all the time.. on simple urine screens, not just the follicle and blood tests...
not all testing sites/companies will just accept proof as being a prescription bottle anymore, you have to have a dated doctors statement of all medications, on letterhead from the doctors office and the exact date written beside the prescripion name that it was actually prescribed to you..most of the time, you will be contacted by the facilities medical examiner, after the urine has tested to fail, and they will give you a number where this document needs to be faxed to...

you will need to provide documentation stating that you were on a prescription for the vicodin.
be upfront about the vicodin for your protection, you may not pass the urine test and blood test.

PS- Vicodin is an opiate, it will definitely be tested for on a drug test!

As long as you're active and drinking water you should be fine. I would suggest some 100% cranberry juice...try and drink down a gallon if you can. It sounds like you're on the right track though.

If you have prescription for the medication take your bottle with you and list the drug on your medication list they will know when it shows up that you are in compliance because you have a legal right to have that med in your system.

There will still be a trace but so what? You got a prescription for it, right? Right? I'm no chemist but I'm guessing they really have to be looking for small trace amounts of hydrocodone to find something after 6 days.

No... you're taking an illegal drug, why would you pass?
If you don't have a valid prescription you are going to be flagged.

If you drink a lot of water maybe but there will be some trace just don't know if its enough to keep you from passing the test.

probably not, unless you actively try to get it out of your system. my brother bought some crap at GNC or the vitamin shoppe that said it would help you pass drug tests. DONT BUY IT. it did not work for him.
I do know a girl whose parents drug test her, and she drinks vinegar [yeah i know its nasty] and cranberry juice [NOT MIXED TOGETHER] and she passes the tests. best of luck.

Ahhhh? I dont think that kind of substance would come up on a drug test... there are only a certain few that do, UNLESS they are specifically testing for something, which is usually done by blood versus urine which im assuming you'll be getting. good luck though... youll have to let me know!!!! :)
