i didn't file taxes for 2005 and now i would like to file them do i need to do any thing special or just fill out the forms and mail them in like i would the current year

Just fill them out and mail them. Be sure to use the 2005 forms, tables and instructions. You can download them at irs.gov. If you have a refund coming, there won't be a penalty and you'll get your refund. If you owe, you'll also be charged with interest and penalties - but file as soon as possible, otherwise the interest and penalties will keep accumulating until you do.

All you need to do is fill out the forms as a normal paper return and mail them in with your payment. If you owe taxes, there may be a penalty or interest. Let the IRS bill you for that.

you can go to turbotax.com to get software from prior years. you can automatically download it and prepare your taxes.

if youre preparing them by hand, then you would just get the 2005 forms off the irs website.

Do them as normal.

I am working on my 2000 and 2004 as we speak.

www.irs.gov get all the forms you need. If you're getting a refund, i'd go with hr block
