It looks fake but it's real. It's an English Mastiff--among the largest of the dog breeds.
Take a look at this>http://www.amny.com/media/photo/2006-02/21952611.jpg

According to the Guinness Book of Records the record holder for the world's largest dog is Zorba, a Mastiff, at 343 pounds. He stood 37 inches at the shoulder and was 8 foot 3 inches from the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail. If a dog is anywhere near that big it would be pretty easy to imagine the picture is real.

Most definitely FAKE....THere are several clues in this clearly photoshopped image. For one the shadow of the dog is incorrect and too deep relative to the ambient light that is in the scene. If that were the case with that kind of shadow there should be a light source that should be seen in the glass and cause other shadows in this scene, including the womans. Several artifacts of pixels around the edge of the dog and the scene too

That's possible I suppose. Those are some of the largest dogs in the world. Also, without knowing what size car and what size woman you are looking at, you really can't say what size that dog really is. But why would somebody go through all that trouble just to fake a dog photo? I give you a 65% chance of it being real.

I don't know what are the chances of a dog to be this big. In 1999, a dog named Hercules (an English Mastiff) was awarded for being the largest/heaviest dog in the world that weighed 286 pound, and that dog kind of looks like this one in the picture.

Fake - first there are no dogs that large, and second, there are distortions in the glass below the dog that imply editing, probably stretching, cutting and pasting.

It is called Adobe Photoshop. You can alter anything with it. Which is hilarious for your friends when you alter them and email them the pics.
A dog that big would be called a horse.
