It would depend where for one. Also R. Marines are sailors, so they would bomb the heck out of the US Marines. The US Marines don't have a way to logistically support themselves without the USN. You would have 50,000 men on a beach with shells raining down from 20 miles off the coast. 100 RM would be about a frigate full. (This is 100 not 100,000) If it was 50k Marines -vs- 100k (which is what I think you mean) of the Royal Army the RA would kill them! You do understand the US Marines are an expeditionary force of the Navy right? They have 0 artillery, 0 cavalry, and 0 logistics. All of this comes from the Navy. Now 50k Army -vs- 50k Army it would all come down the where. Both are equally trained and we share the same tactics. @ Steve, you are only deployed 1st because you are an expeditionary unit. (remember the ribbon we have?) You are forward deployed with us. It isn't that you are better than anyone. I've never seen any of you do anything at sea that would show your nautical knowledge. What do you mean you are trained in everything?

Do you people even know how well Isreal is armed? Not that would ever happen but I hate to tell you I think Isreal gets my nod. For no other reason than determinaion.

Assuming that neither country would use there nukes, I would have to go with UK. But Isreal is a strong country and would hold there own for awhile.

UK would win. Israel have never faced a highly trained army. They may have 3 times more soldiers but what difference does that make. Its how good the soldiers are and as everyone knows British soldiers are the best.

I highly doubt that the UK and Israel would ever go to war with each other. It's the Arab nations we should be concerned about. Pakistan, Iran, Irag, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine...
Israel is an ally and they practice sound politics. If anything the news unfairly portrays them as Arab killers, despite the fact that nearly every time there is a confrontation it was instigated by an Arab nation.
I'm sorry, but I think the UK and Israel should go to war against the rest of the terrorists!
