Of course theists are. We atheists don't even consider to see the "end of times". We know that is not gonna happen in our lifetime. Most theists (jews, christians, muslims, catholics, etc) want the end of the world, because they were told their imaginary friend will come to get them and take them to heaven.

Neither of us will be here when it happens, atheists realise that though, and to be fair so do the majority of Theists its just the weird ones who do not.

I think people who believe in God have a different view about what will happen. I think their outlook is a little less bleak.
