It takes the same amount of time as when you do them yourself. The library only provides the tax preparers. It is up to you to file the forms yourself. Filing electronically will get you your refund faster.

When you say "the library" are you talking about the VITA or TCE programs? Those programs have sites at many libraries. Most VITA and TCE sites will efile your taxes. If they do, and you have your refund direct deposited, it'll take 2 weeks or less, the same time as a paid preparer, but these programs do your taxes at no charge. If you get a paper check, then it'll take about a week longer. If you don't efile, it will take longer still.
