yes for this year you are able to take a 30 to 60 dollar refund that will be added to your exemptions. If you paid an long distance charges on a phone, cell, voice over internet, or bundled service. You can choose to take the standard deduction 30-60 depending on the number of exemptions or use actual receipts.

at least the commiecrats haven't found this one to take apart yet. All it is is a tax break for your long distance service. If you have one and don't make a lot of long distance calls you get $30 if you made a lot of long distant calls then you get more (up to $60) This is one of the 10 new ones that snuk it at the end of 2006.
The money come sfrom your taxes you paid on your long distance bills. Its on all of the software and should be on the tax websites if you file online as well (trubo tax it is).

What is your question? If you plan on filing your taxes and receiving a timely refund, file 1040-EXT separately to ensure that your return doesn't get lost with the millions of others.

I read something about it once but it didn't go into detail and never saw anything again. What do we do? Put it on our taxes?
