I am looking at a set of irons that are less than $150. The guy at the shop has not sold a set as they are new to his shop so he has no feed back on them. They look nicer than some other clubs in that price range. I just can not tell much by swinging one in the store.

Not sure why you think these clubs are real expensive unless you are going by the name only. I think it might be cool to have a set unique to the area but not if they are not decent clubs.

Ask them if you can demo the club and if it feels good to you then buy them .

They may look nicer...they may be prettier. Mercedes r gr8 at making cars but there is no way in hell i would buy a set of their sticks. If u r wanting to be unique that's fine..try a funny set of wood covers or something but dont waste your hard earned cash on sticks which could really make your game harder. Try going for something a little more mainstream with a decent reputation. U may pay a little more but it will be worth it.

Players have had technological advancements over the years, and check the numbers. Clubs don't make golfers better golfers. Seek good fundamentals.

Expensive/fancy clubs don't mean anything.

Spend $200 or $2000 on a set of clubs and it doesn't matter.

If you are just an average golfer who shoots 50-60 for nine and honestly counts strokes.......what the heck....i see lots of poor golfers with awesome equipment....why i dont know.....perhaps cuz they have more money than they know what to do with, or they just want to impress their buddies.

The only thing that impresses me on the course is the greens keeper and the grounds crew.

I could care less whats in someone elses bag.

Find something.........and PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE

200 for the clubs, 1000 for the label.

get with the program dude. unless it comes with a guarantee that you will hole in one every time...

its the user, as said already, not the clubs.
