Great question! My stand is that I would let her be. She should have the right to mature and grow just like anybody else. If your willing to help sustain her from day to day to keep her alive, you must be willing to deal with her growth, and maturity, for better or worse. It is a scary path to go down to alter or manipulate the way somebody does or doesn't grow.

I don't think any of us can know how we'd react to that situation without being in it. I certainly am not going to throw stones at the family or try to second guess their decision.

unless you are in their shoes you have no right to judge , that family didn't make the decision alone and they shouldn't have to be criticized by anyone , not all people agree with chooses parents make but then again they are not walking in those parents shoes
