It must not have been permanent, because it sounds as though it's washing out.You can't dye your hair blonde you can put a blonde color on it or bleach it. I'm a hairdresser I know.

Using dye-stuff is absolutely not good for your hair.
Do not use it any more
Your hair would become naturally blonde without any effect.
It might cost long time but that is better for your hair.
I consider natural blonde hair is more suitable than brown.
Anyway, using dye-stuff could harm your head skin alot and also lead to cancer and fade away your hair.
Think about it !

if you like your brown hair, dye it again only do your roots for 15 min then do the rest for 5 min. if your blonde shows all over. if not just do your roots. or do hi lites doesn't show roots so soon. you are able to go longer w/ out coloring.

I found this dye, by Superior Preference Loreal that without bleaching, takes even dark browns and turn them into blonde. It actually really worked, and it doesnt fry your hair. I had nice results. :]

You could consult a professional stylist and have her strip the color but this process can be very drying and thus damaging. It would be easier just to have patience and let it continue to grow out. Next time just do face framing highlights they grow out without the regret.

I think it will be just fine. Usually, after waiting more than a month after your last hair dye it shouldn't be a problem. my friend used to change her hair color every month and she had no problems.
