In my opinion , a tuna sandwich is good with lettuce, tomato and thin slices of onion....on toasted bread....that is one great sandwich...

I mix the can of tuna in oil....drain the oil off
with a couple tablespoons of mayonnaise
then add some sweet pickle relish
a little black ground pepper
dash of salt
chopped celery very small
some people boil an egg hard and then peel and cut up in the salad..it's not necessary but good.

Romaine or leaf lettuce is a good choice to use
and red onions sliced

good luck and hope you enjoy it!

Try sliced plum tomatoes on a tuna sandwich.

Definitely, the freshness of tomatoes can tone down the fishy smell of canned tuna.

I like tuna not only with tomatoes but with lettuce, cheese, and sprouts. If you want to be really outragous. Try it on a wrap. I like a spinich taco shell. MMMM

Yummy! I usually use lettuce, tomato, cheese, with a touch of honey mustard.

yes of course. But they are better when they are not mashed up. Tomatoes fit with everything!

they taste ok but just add to the mushiness, go for cucumber instead, its cool crunchy flavour goes great with tuna
