Jokes' understanding is even harder than crosswords if you aren't mother tongue speakers. I'm Italian and when I hear a good one in Italian it makes me laugh. I'm quite fluent in English but I've never laughed for a joke in yr language; that's not because you don't have nice jokes but any joke's spirit get lost if you're obliged to translate it from a foreigner into yr own native language.
However the only one joke (about bar and horse) I've read here above is not at all in correct Italian, then I've been forced to translate into English and then I didn't laughed at all for it...!!!

Chicks that speak Italian drive me wild...especially if they tell jokes...cara mia.

Haha! I'm Italian, but my Italian isn't so good. I read the joke below me three times and finally got it.

A horse walks into a bar and the bartender says "Why the long face?" LOL
