Stains. this name is the best. I had a little puppy named stains for a while as a kid. love him so much. Me and him were best of friends. I went to summer camp and couldn't bring him along. When I came home I was told that he ran away. I made up flyers and posted them all over. I lost my voice that day, I was wondering all over the neighborhood yelling for him, I did it for hours. I still have nightmares about it. I can remember it so clearly. I never seen him again. I tried my hardest though, yelling his name all day long "come stains" "come stains".....

Depends. We had A Shepherd/ Rottweiler cross at 8 weeks, and we named him Bandit. A hell of a good dog.He only lived 8 years, but any dog I have in the future will be compared to him.

If your looky for something cool try using international city names or countries like Prague or Rome, etc.

Words in different languages also sound catchy. People will always wonder what it means. I.e. I named my cat Caelestis which is latin for celestial/devine.

Anything that uses symbolism or is a methaphoric word.

Someone from tv,books, or history like Mercutio, Einstein, Galileo, etc.

What kind of puppy? If I got one, I'd call it something that covers its personality or a quirk about it. If there is no clues to any of that yet, I'd call it a human name or something abstract, like Mar which means sea in Spanish or something like that.
