My friends b/f watches porn every day and gets off, but when she comes in the room he asks her for privacy. She is right there! why would he not want the real thing?? Yet he says he loves her and when she was going to leave him he begged her to stay! What up with that?

Is she okay with him doing this? If not, time to find someone who is not addicted to porn. From what I've heard it's really hard to give up and they'll say they've quit when really they haven't.
Why do they want porn instead of the real thing? Because they're too immature to handle a real relationship and they believe sex is simply about objectifying women.

Tell your friend to contact New Life Ministrys and ask for something called "Every man's Battle". I think you hit the nail on the head.....Your friends BF sounds like a sex/porn addict.
The people at that ministry I mentioned counsel people with this type of addiction all the time. Give them a call!!

Guys get addicted to porn and masturbation. It becomes like a daily need. I like the real thing better, but everyone is different. Tell your friend to leave his *** if he keeps it up. there are tons of guys who would prefer the real thing

Your friend's boy friend has a problem and your friend a more serious problem. She needs to get out; Even if he begs her to stay and insists he'll give it up. He's in deep and will probably never give it up. She needs to do some on line research herself on pornography addictions. Google can be a girl's good friend.

Tell your friend to just leave. It takes years before they admit they have a problem and by then it might be so deeply engraved in their brains that they're never able to have a normal sexual relationship.
