The Law of the Spirit of Christ is the same as what Jesus said before He ascended to sit at the right hand of the Father.
John 15:12 "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. (13) Greater love has no one than this, that someone lays down his life for his friends.
John the beloved gives us the Law of the Spirit in practical terms:
1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. Whoever does not love abides in death. (15) Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. (16) By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. (17) But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? (18) Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.

The Law of the spirit is simple; I will give you texts in Bible to tell you what it is.
The Law of the Spirit is God leading you (ROM.8:14)spiritually in his law; look at ROM.8:9. For instance: all of us were under the law (GAL.4:3,5; EPH.2:2-3 under bondage and sin), but we didn't know this at the time that we weren't obeying God's Law.
GAL.4:21-23 = "Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up into the faith which should afterwards be revealed."
Now if we were in sin and (1TIM.1:8-17)not knowing it; will God lead us out of this sin? Yes, He will. God tells us "we were shut up into the faith". Now if we were "shut up into the faith" that means sooner or later God will reveal to you the true message of the Law by you calling on Him. When this happens, He reveals the truth by others, through His word or by Him speaking through you. When people speak of the real truth about the Law, (2Thess.2:7-12)some accept it and some don't. If you accept it; then God will lead you into the right way of his truth and Law. By obeying God Law; He will lead and guide you spiritually. You won't obey God's Law because you think it will (GAL.3:11-13; ROM.9:31-32; 4:16; 2:29)save you(no law has saved men; we're saved by Grace); you obey God's Law willingly because you love God and want to obey Him. (1JOHN 2:3; REV.14:7,12; ROM.10:5)
1JOHN 3:24 = "And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us."
Most people fight over God's Law (ROM.8:7; 1JOHN 3:4; MATT.15:9; 1TIM.2:7) by saying the ten commandments don't exist or by saying Sabbath Saturday is no longer valid and etc; this is the carnal mind. This is enmity against God because they can't accept God's Law into their heart and minds; to act on it and to obey so God can lead them into more truth.
ROM.8:4 = "That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."
HEB.10:16 = "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them."

The law of the spirit replaced the o.t. law. In the o.t. people had to obey numerous laws to be pleasing to God. Jesus changed that. The o.t. predicted that one day God would write his laws on our hearts.
We are not sinners because we sin. We sin because we are sinners. The law of the spirit goes that we no longer have to obey rules and regulations---we have to have faith to be pleasing to God.

The Spirit comes to convict the world. (John) You have to call upon it for indwelling. It is gentle and respectable. It comes in great outpouring of in like drop in a bucket.
