Be careful with this one... confectioners sugar has cornstarch in it and might affect whatever it is you're sweetening in an unpleasant way.

Use 4 tablespoons of confectioner's sugar, as it is less sweet than granulated.

However, it's really not good to substitute it for granulated in baked goods because it doesn't trap the air cells very well.

No, its ground finer so it packs more sweetness. I would GUESS the ratio would be 3:1, but I'm not sure.
