I get nervous around guys. I'm not ugly..I feel like I'm pretty pretty actually. I'm not even super shy, I just get really shy around guys when I'm meeting them. I don't know how to get past small talk and into a real friendship where it's not awkward for me to hang out. what can I do? and do guys like it when a girl gets nervous around them or do they just think she's retarded!?

When I meet a nervous girl, the first thing I wonder is why she's nervous, and if I'm doing something to make her nervous.
I get nervous around girls too, but I'm never "oh jeez, this girl is shy, what a joke."
Sometimes shy girls have the most interesting things to say!
As long as you stay true to yourself I dont' think anyone should feel afraid to speak up to guys or whoever. Easier said than done, but sometimes you gotta say what you want, guys aren't always mind readers.

COULD be kinda cute... to some guys, in some situations... but generally ya gotta overcome it. Just RELAX and say whatever comes to mind; don't think too much about what you're going to say; its not necessary! Just go with the flow!! This takes PRACTICE if u r shy! I used to be shy, but now I am not shy at all. Observe girls who are not shy, and learn from them!! Watch the reactions and responses they get, and notice why. Just observe and u will learn..

Sweetheart, you don't need to worry about guys. They are not worth it. When the right one comes along, you'll understand. Look at guys just like at other human beings, who are not any different, at least not any better than you. Play or hang out with them like with ol' good friends and they will appreciate it. In order to have a friend, you have to be one yourself.

Depends on the guy. Some will; others won't. Just some guy's perfer women tiny and others extra large. The same applies here.
