Ok i just got over this extremely difficult break up, and there was this amazing guy who told me he liked me and then decided that he would go back to his ex girlfriend, also he told me that he still liked me! that was confusing and it hurt really bad to be let down like that... then there is my best friend who recently decided that he liked me and i accumulated the same feelings but i needed time to clear my mind about my ex and the amazing guy that turned me down..... so my best friend who now likes me took me to the movies last monday and asked me to prom! i was extremely excited to go with a guy that i trust and that respects me, today i found out that he has been "hanging out" with a girl that is in three of my classes all week long and that they are going to become girlfriend and boyfriend soon.... what the hell???? hellp me decide what to do???

Tough call there. It makes me wonder whether the good friend invited you out as he knew you just went through a rough break up with your last boyfriend. The question becomes - was he action romantically towards you when he asked you or were you two just palling around?
If he was doing the 'friend' date, then you should realize that maybe it isn't going the way you thought, so I wouldn't get upset.
As to the Amazing Guy, well he went back to his girlfriend, so technically he is out of the equation, so don't even waste a thought on him.
Looks like you can go to the prom with your buddy as a friend (and still have a great time) or let him off the hook so he can take his new girlfriend. It might mean you don't have a date to the prom, but then you may meet another guy before then...
good luck.

I know it's hard, but you need to decide what YOU want. High School is a tough time for both sexes and I'm sure the two guys are just as confused as you are. On the overall, don't sweat it too hard. You will have your next boyfriend, which you choose, in no time. Remember, when it comes down to it, women always have the power in deciding whether a relationship starts and which suits them best. Also, remember that these two guys can't read your mind, so build up the guts to tell each of them how you feel and then you will be so much closer to the answer to "what should I do now."

I would just ask him if he has plans on changing his mind about who he wants to take to the prom. You or this new girl.

You need to know so if he takes this other girl to the prom, you'll have time to find someone else to go with.

That's a bummer.

Stop getting so serious. Just dating is very rewarding.

Confront the guy about the prom. You need to know if he is going to bail on you.

Maybe something unexpected will happen next.

u r right! what the hell is he doing that 4? he probably is a better friend to u than a boyfriend, so just tell him u just want to be friends. if u dont want to be just friends, sit down have a talk w/ him and work your problems out.

you need to take time to deal with your feeling about what is going
on in your life right now. you just got over someone one that you
care about and jump into something that might not have been
right for you, time to let both of them go, and be by your self
to find you self, then you will be able to feel like you are whole
again.

That's f**ked up, high school boys are real mature(sarcasm) your emotions are obviously being tossed around, go with your friend as a friend cause hey he asked you, have fun and try to forget about your emotions being tossed around because it is only high school, it will be over faster than you can believe.

i think you just need to take a break from everything...

if your best friend is seeing someone else it is entirely his own decision i guess... am sure he'll be there for you if u r in trouble.. after all he is your best friend...

give yourself time to heal...recently you have gone through lotz of ups n down....so donot rush into anything and cling to whatever and whoever comes along..you are going through a vulnerable phase and people might try to take advantage of it...

you do what makes you happy... donot depend your friends to make you happy...and donot expect anything from them..
