Alright, so theres a girl in my school who i met this year. We were, i
would say good friends ever since then. We danced once or twice at our homecoming (we did not however go together), and i have "noticed" her in a liking way (she's pretty fine). She liked someone else though, and i didn't mind cause we're good friends and stuff, and i tried to help her with him. However, she told me that she decided to stop liking him, and i immediately thought something had happed(he rejected her), although i did not talk to her about it. Now we're still friends, but i don't see her as much in school anymore. Subsequently we dont talk as much. whenever i do see her, she seems kinda sulky, but shes still the same person (not emo). She asked one of her other friends to turnabout as a friend(at least i think so), but now i think im falling for her. What should i do?

Life's too short! She's sulky cause you didn't go after her when she told you she wasn't seeing the other guy.

Just do it, man!

Find her. Find a way to be around her more often. There's only so much you can do at school, since you really can't choose your schedule. Find out if she's in any clubs or sports, and join them or go watch the games. Try to find her myspace and say stuff like "it sucks that I don't see you much at school", and see where that leads. She may come back with "we should hang out some time" or "I see you in the halls before 4th hour every day". You can at least get a better idea of where she is mentally with regards to you. One thing that I've learned in my life is that no matter how hard you're crushing over her, she probably has no idea.
I'm 27 and have become friends with some of the girls that I really wanted when I was in high school. The girls had no idea because I never made a move. I thought they were out of my league and got all nervous around them, but as it turns out I probably would have had a shot had I just said or done something. I'm happily married to a beautiful woman, but every time I see these girls I still wonder what it would have been like and how my life would have been different if I would have done something to convey my thoughts.
You'll regret it if you don't do something, I promise!

I have learned from experience many many times, that if you like her, then tell her, or ask her out, or something. If you dont, you will drive yourself crazy wondering what could have happened. And if she says no, then you just brush it off. If you are friends at worst she will let you down gently, not like in the movies. Go for it, good luck!

I'd say ask her out for coffee and level with her... tell her you find her attractive and ask her if she wants to take this to the next level. or at least over coffee ask her how everything's going. Trust me better to have tried and messed up then to always be wondering about what might have been.

Ask her if she would like to go to a movie? If she says no. Tell her you are worried about her, she looks sad. (She will love you for it).

talk to her and ask her what her feelings towards you are because you would like to be in her life more than you are now

Ask her on a date. If she says no, move on. If she says yes, go and have fun.
