You are mistaken, Paul in this Epistle was dealing with the "Greek Custom" of married women keeping their heads covered, to show proper respect for her husband. To not cover her head, she would shame her husband & show she did not recognize his authority over her. As the discourse goes on and Paul wraps up he makes it clear this is not a "custom" of the Churches of God. It further spoke of women having their heads "shaved" which showed she was a prostitute. Again, this is a Greek Custom, and not the practice of the Church.

You kind of have to read between the lines and understand the culture at the time this was written. In the first century a woman's marital status determined whether or not she covered her head - kind of like a wedding ring in our culture or a mark on the forehead in other cultures. Also, hair was considered a sensual part of a woman's body. So, for a married woman to show her hair would have been extremely flirtatious and temptous. In reality, no one is holding Christian women down while someone shaves their head - this is just a warning: it is better to do without something, if having it brings temptation to you or someone else.

You're referring to 1 Corinthians 11:4-7, correct? I think you're a bit "off" in a couple of areas there. The bible instructs women to cover their heads WHILE THEY PRAY and says it is the same disgrace to pray with an uncovered head as it would be to have a shaved head or cut hair. Therefore, if a woman does not cover her head while she prays, she should cut her hair or shave her head. Men are supposed to pray with NO HEAD COVERING. So apparently huge swaths of YHWH followers, men and women, have determined that passage to be something they do not want to do. Why else would they do the exact opposite of what the bible told them? The bible says nothing about them having to cover the rest of their bodies, only that both men and women should dress modestly.

Women and men covered their heads up until the mid twentieth century then only men started covering heads. Women stopped wearing head dress all together. Many men don't wear hats either. Someone tries to shave my head I'll kick their but before I shoot their balls off. OO

There is no biblical injunction requiring any such thing, and since few women cover their heads these days (at least in the civilized countries), obviously nobody takes such a thing seriously.

Each society and culture through the ages has had their individual customs and practices. To assume that "Christianity molests women" is not fitting for today's Christian, in today's world ! ... And what about YOUR customs ?

But of course the Bible has been written so many times one tends to leave out the things they do not want.
Seriously, does anyone who is Christian do that? Look out your front door.. what do you see? No one (does that). Only Muslims do.
