CONCENTRATE UR SELF, ONLY STUDYING IS NOT TO ACHIEVE GOOD GRADES, BUT THERE R SO MANY TRICKS IN STUDDING ,SO HOW ONE CAN ONE EXPRESS HIS/HER KNOWLEDGE & EXPLANE IT IN INTERVIEWS OR IN EXAMES. SO JOIN SOME CLASSES, TAKE ADVICE FROM UR GOOD SENIOR OR GO THROUGH SOME BOOKS WHICH GIVES THE TRIK TO IMPROVE UR MIND POWER. KEEP AWAY FROM TENSIONS & ALSO GIVE SOME TIME TO UR HOBBIES.

When I was in college I couldn't sit still while studying. I found that studying in short periods frequently worked very good. How I did this was to study for 30 or so minutes and take a small break. It took a little longer, but I remembered more than by cramming. You may also try studying different subjects during the study time. It breaks the monotony. The most important thing is study at specific times for specific lengths.

Before I look at the other responses, I will go with my intuition:
1) You must take care of some unfinished task or problem.
2) The task or problem is the reason you can't move forward.
3) Once you have come to terms with the task or problem, you
will be able to have a good nights sleep and will be able to
concentrate on your schooling (tests, studying, etc.)
4) Until you take care of the real problem, you will not be able
to move forward.
Now, I'll submit my answer and then check to see what the others have said. I hope I am close to the answer you are seeking.

Break everything down into do-able chunks. Then allocate how long you think everything will take. Then when you feel like studying for 10 minutes, choose one of your tasks that will take 10 minutes. That's the technique I use when I can't sit down and studying for long periods of time.
You might even find that once you get into it, you might actually do some other tasks too.
Or there is the reward system, whereby you reward yourself every time you achieve some studying. (I remember my daughter feeding me one chocolate every time I wrote 500 words for my Masters dissertation).
Warmth and Smiles.

Get some help at school. A tutor can help you probably. Are you having difficulty focusing? If so, try a small cup of coffee. Sometimes the caffiene wakes up your brain to focusing more.
Ask someone at school for some good study habits. Then use them. It's all in parking yourself in your room and doing it.

Set short goals for yourself.Try to lure yourself by promising to yourself a cup of ice-cream or whatever you like if you finished your studying perfectly. Get yourself that if you have indeed fulfilled your perfect study. continue this till you are sure studying has become a matter of fact for you. Pray to God always to help you by giving self-confidence.
