i would say be true to God but now secularism is on the rise as religion is losing the value it used to have, sorry that im atheist but i want to share my opinion, premarital sex is becoming more and more often possibly because simply put that people dont care and morals are going down the drain in america, also people rush into things and peer pressure to do it dosent help much either. Revalations is probably right because sin would be normal because of what is happening, and it probably caused the end of the world, people have sinned and turned away from God and i guess Satan now has more power, a long time ago, the church held much power and religion in general had influence on almost everyone but then people started caring less and less and premarital sex is just one of the things that changed over time and soon other things will follow

Yes, it is a sin. We all sin....a lie is a sin, etc. We should STRIVE to do the best we can everyday and ask forgiveness everyday/night. The Bible states that the generation that see's Isreal become a nation will be a sign of the reign of the Anti-Christ. The Bible also states when you see ALL, not one or two of these things happpen look for his coming: plagues, famine, changes in the weather, war. When I think of doing something I KNOW is wrong, then I think is it worth it? Is eternal torment worth it? If you are God's Child you will feel it in your heart, your a simple prayer from it. Good website: www.jvim.com. This man is called the walking Bible, and everything he says about prophecy he quotes by scripture from the Bible.

If I could always do what God asks of me and never do what I please, I can tell you right now I would have a life that is absolutely incredible. But I don't always do what God wants of me. Why? I'm lazy, selfish and self indulgent. Do I love Jesus? With all my heart.
Yes, we should do what God asks. We also need to remember that as long as we are in these bodies, we are going to sin. I'm not saying that's any excuse, it isn't.
You're right, the bible says that in the end times, not only will people do evil, but they will applaud and condone those who do it. Without being a hypocrite, I would say to my brothers and sisters in Christ, do all you can do walk the straight and narrow. It is a much sweeter life than walking your own way.

yes in the Bible it does say to stay pure until marriage
Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, "The two will become one flesh." But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with him in spirit. Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. 1. Cor. 6:16-18
Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral. Hebrews 13:4
Your right, having sex before marriage is becoming the normal thing.
Read Romans 1:18-32- It describes how God will hand over society to sexual immorality, then sexual lusts, homosexuality, and finally these things will begin to be accepted, and people will cheer it on, meaning they will encourage it.
I think we should stay true to God and wait. God knows the struggles we encounter, and He will never give us something we can not handle. The temptation is always there, and God knows that, He's testing us to see who the true believers are. I'm not saying that those who give in to the temption aren't true believers, because God loves and accepts everyone, but he also throws us challenges, and its a test to strengthen our faith.

Things may change with us in the world and become normal behavior for us now but God and his ways do not change with time at all. He still and always will feel the same way about every sin, he hates it. We should try not to do things we know we shouldn't do, but it is hard for us and that's why Jesus is our high priest. He helps us overcome these sins and forgives us if we ask because he knows how we struggle with these things.

well, an abstinence pledge is staying away from sex until married, and the Bible pretty much encourages that.
but, then again so many other things frowned upon in the Bible (such as gay couples) are a common thing.
as well as suicide. that's a sin.
so, depending on your look at it, its your call.
(if that helps any)
i say wait.
pre marital pregnancy can be alot to handle, expessually if your younger.
hope this helps, (in which it is really only re-stating the question!)

I stayed true and waited. It is a gift that you give to your husband but not too many people see it that way anymore. It would end a lot of abortions and it gives you confidence in yourself. All my friends wish that they waited. They had sex and all it was was a bunch of chaos in the relationships after that.

Defiantly stay true to God and wait. Just because a sin is a normal everyday occurrence and everyone is doing it, doesn't make it right. It is still a sin.

You need to stay true....it will pay off in the long run. Your right, it does say there will be chaos in the world as the end nears. Looks like every day we are getting a lot closer.

Stay true to God, to be molded into the ways of this world, the enemy wil try to make it seem appealing, but its not worth it. just think of the price jesus paid for you, is that the way you want to behave in light of that? part of being saved is turning away from sin, not walking in it anymore, but walking with God.
