how dp people thinh about the new aged women who doesnt help around the house because they dont think they should have to do "womens work" but at the same time wonts men to treat them like princesse? It seems to me there is a new double standarded that has nothing to do with equality but women use this arguement to deflect responsibility and fairness in relationships and life.

I hate that! I believe it's the feminist movement gone too far. We are now trying to take away men's rights.

I'm a stay-at-home-mom and I'm so proud of what I do. I feel I'm a feminist. I believe in equality not superiority of any sex. What I do is exactly what I would expect my husband to do; keep a clean home, care for our children, and take care of the nitty gritty. It's not because he is a male that I do this. It is because I'm the homemaker.

When I return to work the household duties will be carried out 50/50. This I think is the best way to go.

I would hate it (even as a woman) after a hard day at work having to come home to a messy house. I would hate it if my spouse didn't do anything productive while I was out financially supporting them. Maybe that's just me though...

I'm tired of the double standard also. If these women want to be treated with equality they need to realize it goes both ways.

Good Question!

It isn't "woman's work" because women leave the home and go out to work and men stay home and care for the house, it is a shared responsibility of all who share a home and living accommodations. The work should be shared accordingly. Some women like to play the domestic drudge in order to impress a man with her "attributes" thinking he will prefer "the old fashioned girl" But guess again! He will make her his slave! Women have worked and suffered to gain the respect they have and get out from "under" the authoritarian male domination! Do you want to be a possession or life partner? Act like a person worthy of equal respect and responsibility.

first of all i totally agree with u....... we shouldnt be treated like princess unless we deserve it..... i think that the house work or the women's work should be shared equally between them and when it comes to being treated like princess it gets annoying really quickly and i dont like it.....u expected allot from ur partner when ur spoiled like that and when they dont u get depress.....complete bs.......

hey, i don't blame them one bit, because if the guy they're with is dumb enough to accept such attitude from her, then the joke is really on him.

women only do what a guy allows them to do, and men only do what women allow them to.

there are plenty of fools in both categories...

I think a guy should see she isn't a mothering, wifely, homemaker type and should not marry her. If he does pooey on him, his poor kids, and society.
