I don't think you can recreate a god. That would be like trying to create a soul- something you can't do or prove it exists. All religions are based on faith and can never be proven.
If you mean create tiny life form building blocks from gases colliding- it has already been done in a lab.

well, the thing is that God by definition doesn't exist by the universe's rules--He can break the laws of physics.
