Like where people constantly stab you in the back or make fun of you because you don't have alot of money? I have had this happen to me. I don't hold it against God. He gave man free will to do as he chooses. So if someone chooses to do evil, then thats on them. But I never believed that I would ever allow myself to sink to such a low level that I am in today. I am better than I was, becuase not long ago I was ready to find the tallest building and leap off. Or drink a Clorox bleach cocktail. Its very bad when someone has had to endure hardships that they did not ask for. But its even worse when the very people who are supposed to be by your side to help see you through are mocking you and speaking against you. I thought that the church was designed to help people? I don't get how these people think. Don't tell me you just have to ignore them and go on!! We are human beings. We have a heart and when someone abuses your heart its very hard to just forgive and forget.

If those types of things went on at the church I attend the people would either be repenting and asking forgiveness or looking for another church. If you go to a church where people get away with that kind of behavior then you need to find another church because either Christ isn't living in that congregation or the overseers of the flock have allowed the enemy to sow tares in the field. Of course, as a Christian you have the words of Jesus to guide you in how you should react to such people.
Matthew 18:15 "If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. (16) But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses. (17) If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.
In other words, you can confront a person in private who makes fun of you for not having a lot of money with this Scripture and see what they say.
James 2:1 My brothers, show no partiality as you hold the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory. (2) For if a man wearing a gold ring and fine clothing comes into your assembly, and a poor man in shabby clothing also comes in, (3) and if you pay attention to the one who wears the fine clothing and say, "You sit here in a good place," while you say to the poor man, "You stand over there," or, "Sit down at my feet," (4) have you not then made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?
If they apologize then you should forgive them. If they don't then get a church official involved and let him take it from there.

OK I have been there done that. Had a girl tell me did you sew your own dress and I said yes She said well it sure looks like it.The kids were very cruel in this church.
I would tell the Pastor minister Bishop and Priest about this so he can give a little lesson to the others on humbling themselves.If things didn't change I would change churches
I would say now that I'm older go to another church know one should have to take that kind of abuse church is suppose to uplift us not tear us down I am sure there is another church same religion that will suit your needs,I found mine.

Okay, there are mean spirited people everywhere, even in some churches. People who hide darkness and evil in their hearts. There are also some who could love you whole heartedly.
It is hard to forgive and forget. Yes, that's true. But, it is possible to do just that. I know, because I did it. First, pray and ask God to help you to forgive those who have trespassed against you.
Put your faith and trust in God, and don't try to deal with this all by yourself. God will help you if you allow Him to.

I am sorry that you had to experience such negative things in church which trully is noty supposed to happen there but I guess it does some times some places, but you are truly taking the right attitude in your reasoning, and please note that the Bible does say that these things would happen in the last days(2Peter3:3) Please try to keep with ypour resolve not to sdink that low, but I know what you are sayingI have experienced something like you say but not in church but in my family my own parents.feel free to email me if you want someone to talk to.

It sounds like you need to go find a new church. People are not supposed to be that way. The church I go to isn't like that. Pray and God will send you to the right place and please don't jump off a building. God bless

Do not put your confidence in any man theyt will let you down every time.And just cause you are in Church does not mean that is where the good people are.You can tell a person by their fruits.
