I've been in a relationship with my bf for 3 months now, yet a friend of ours (G) seems to like me? Lately, G always seems to be hanging around me, purposely attempting to sit/stand/walk beside me, and a few times already he's either skipped classes or waited for 2 hours at least just so he could bus home with me. My bf and him aren't as good friends with him as I am, and so far, he hasn't really given any indication of doing anything, although he does seem a bit 'wary' and 'tense' when G's around.
My best friend was the first one to notice G's actions, which seems to have increased/intensified slightly ever since my bf and I showed up about 2 months ago together. I really don't want to confront him though...so should I be thinking about avoiding or distancing myself from G? Or should I just leave things as they are...
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Also, I only see G as a friend, nothing more. But how or when am I supposed to go about confronting him without losing our friendship? Anyone with anymore advice?

If this is any important...before my bf and I got together, there was a period of time when some other friends decided to be playful (as they usually are to each other) and teased/playfully made up rumors about how G would always wait for me and how we were 'together'. My best friend thinks that if anything, these 'rumors' were what made by bf 'act faster' and asked me out. Is it possible that G took those rumors seriously, or thought of them as anything else other than jokes? A close guy friend of G's and a close childhood friend of mine had confirmed about half a year ago that G did have feelings for me...

From a guys point of view it seems like G might like you.. He wants your attention and probably does'nt like your BF. So if you really love your BF and have no intentions with G, Tell him to back off. because your boyfriend probably does'nt like that and he has'nt said anything because he is a nice guy right?

Agree with the first answerer.
I don't like my ex-gf giving chance to others even it seem harmless.
It invite problem unnecessary to our relationship.

Please don't think I'm a control freak, I'm not and I old enough to understand what going to happen if that continue.
