Scientifically speaking, modern technology does not have a boat big enough to hold 2 of every species on earth. Also, what did they eat for 40 days and 40 nights if they couldn't kill the cargo? What did the animals eat? Did the fish get a break out of this deal?

The story is fiction. Available scientific evidence from numerous independent sources shows conclusively that thel flood did not happen.

Noah built the Ark by God's specifications and therefore the Ark was designed to do just that, fit in all the Animals God wanted in there as well as the people, so modern Technology may not have a boat big enough to fit 2 of every kind of animal on earth in it but you're forgetting one important point! There is no Man that can measure up to God's Standard!

Let's see, as I remember it, the dimensions of the ark gave it the size of a WW2 aircraft carrier. That's certainly big enough to carry all the birds and animals in pairs. Also, there was considerably more room available because Noah preached to that wicked generation calling them to come aboard and flee the destruction to come.

Then, not all of the animals came aboard by two's. With some, there were more for use as sacrifices later on. Finally, at that point in time, I believe there were no carnivores, just vegetarians. God changed things after they came out of the ark. The fear of man came upon animals. God also said that man could eat of everything in the Earth after he came out of the ark. Finally, this was a huge ship with 3 decks. There were probably plenty of rooms availabe for additional people besides the 8 that went on board.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if being in a darkened area, God would have put the animals into an extended hibernation or sleep mode till it was time to exit.

The boat was HUGE!!!!! The animals didn't want to eat because they were to busy bumping uglys with each other cause they knew that they had to repopulate the World once God drained most of the water:)....

There is some proof that there was water that covered areas that are now dry.We weren't there so for some it's hard for them to believe that really happened, if you want to disagree you have a right to it. But what Noah did isn't far from impossible we could do that now days, build a boat big enough to fit alot of people and animals and float around for a while sure it wouldn't be that hard, there's just no need for that now days.

Life is so complex and we have the tools to do just about anything we want to, you just got to have that motivation to get it going and once you have that any is possible, and that is a fact.

Remember alot of the species were at their root.In otherwords like man some of the species hadn't developed into offshoots. Then Jewish Literature states that all the animals were baby animals. Also the cubit used was a Royal cubit of 24 inches instead of 18(the same measurement used in the great Pyramid and the Ark of the Covenant). The fish were already in the water. For that short amount of time they could eat bread and fruit etc. Also they took 7 of every clean animal also. Not too hard to fathom, really. That was a huge barge shaped ship.

I am assuming that they cryogenetically froze and shrunk all of the species and then unthawed them when the flood was over. You can't stop a hungry tiger from eating a tasy deer sitting right next to them.
Plus there is no way to get all endemic species- some are only found on a 1 mile by 1 mile plot of land
If you haven't noticed....the bible isn't based on facts.

I guess science missed its own conclusion that 97% OF ALL LIVING ORGANISMS-ANIMALS, PLANTS, WHATEVER-ARE INVERTEBRATES!!! That means that 97% of all living things are microscopic!! Are you telling me that we can't fit the other 3% on a good sized ship-which is exactly what the ark was? As for what they ate, God provided the food for them in some way or another. After all, he's God!! Now admittedly, you have to have Faith to believe this, but then again, have you ever wondered what Jesus ate? Or when he ate? Does it really matter? Jesus is God-he could make food appear out of thin air if he wanted to!!

Noah didn't take two of every species, he took two of every kind. The kind is higher on the taxonomic scale than the species, probably at the genus level, or even the family. Many species have arisen in the past few centuries, and new species are created easily when a group of animals becomes separated and loses the genes in the main group.

Many objections to Noah's Ark have been answered over and over again. The link has good information on the subject.

How many times a week is this question going to appear? Noah took two and seven of each kind, not each one of the same species. One kind of cat, one kind of dog etc, etc, evolution took care of the re population after the ark landed.

I'd just like to know how Noah found two polar bears, and got them back to his place and into a boat. The rest should have been easy.
