There is this girl and she is amazing. Her name is Jamie, she plays drums, she's nice, funny...and so damn beautiful. Her eyes are so...I love her. The problem is, I can't talk to her. Whenever I get around her my mouth is sealed shut. Today I tried to invite her to a concert, I was studdering for 3 minutes before she could understand what I was saying. She said yes but now what do I do...I can't talk to her. We've been friends for a little while but we havent actually talked since i'm such an idiot...What do I do?

im sorry 2 say this but u really hav no hope unless u gain some confidence! u sound lyk a realli nice carin guy and girls lyk tht but u have2 hav some confidence 2 or u may scare the chics ur tryin 2 get the attention of. b honest 2 her and say ur not very good at this but remebr u have2 work on ur confidence which can b difficult. start by pratising in frount of the mirror wat u r goin 2 say 2 a girl b open and friendly dont b 2 shy and u'll get there. good luck!

Be careful of falling too much into the friend's zone. You have to gain confidence and the time is NOW. She said yes to the concert but hopefully she understood it as a date and she's not just going with you because you're safe. I agree with one of the other poster's that said just let her talk about her interests and just listen. I suggest going somewhere quiet after the concert so you can talk uninterupted on a more personal level. If you bring flowers don't just settle for the roses and stay away from ALL red flowers. You're likely to scare her off. Try picking a different kind of flower that you don't see very often or have never heard of. (Trust me there are plenty) Something that resembles how unique she is to you. Stay far away from cheesy pickup lines. (a pet peeve of very many women) Be yourself but don't reveal everything because you will ruin the mystery which is a big part of lust and attraction. You don't want to kill it for her. So be yourself but be your "best" self.

Okay, you're probably underage, so this might be bad advice. I find a SINGLE drink helps me relax enough to have a conversation. One shot of vodka (NOT ON AN EMPTY STOMACH) right before your date, that way there's no alcohol smell, but one drink isn't enough to make you act like an idiot, it'll just help you relax. After this date, you'll know more about her and probably won't be so nervous.
Also, when a guy is shy and stutters cause he's nervous, us girls find that incredibly cute. So don't worry so much about being nervous... she can tell that you're just shy and not stupid, and she'll think it's cute. Also, she may be so self-concious about not acting like an idiot herself, she won't even notice how you're acting.

This worked for me when I was younger, go online and find some pics of some really fine girls (no I'm not talking about porn). And practice saying to them what you will say to Jamie. I know this sounds corny but like Barny said, "you have to use your imagination." Finally remember the worst she can do is say no (better to try and know then not try and never know).

You need to relax! If you are at a loss for words, just give her a compliment or two and ask her about the things she likes. The trick is to allow her to talk about herself and what she likes. She'll think she had the best time in the world.

you are worried about what she thinks of you. She thinks you are nice, or she would not have said yes! Don't try to impress her. Just be polite and make her feel welcome. Ask her questions about her. Where did you grow up, what food is your favorite, which band member do you like best, which song. How long have you been playing drums. Etc.

Ask her something about herself. Something you know she's interested in - like her drumming. That way she'll do most of the talking and all you have to do is listen. And nothing is sexier than a good listener.

Sounds like you have some insecurities. PLEASE gain some confidence in yourself before trying to develop a relationship with this woman, if you truly like her. Otherwise, you will irritate her, and depress yourself. Just look at yourself and try to focus on your good points. Then take confidence in those qualities. Then you can talk to her all you want!!!
