In Luke chapter 2 It talks of Jesus when He was 12 years old
Luke 2:40-52 Verse 40 says, " And the child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of God was upon Him,"

But even when Jesus was 30 years old at the start of His ministry, His mother told Him at a wedding that they ran out of wine and He told her that His time had not yet come. John 2:4

Maybe the reason there isn't much about Jesus in the bible before He was 30 years old is because God had nothing for Him to share with us until then..

I suggest reading the bible and begin to understand what God is trying to tell us through His Son during His ministry.

i do not believe human beings holding thate there are few women folk who've abortions. that could no longer genuine. there are quite some women folk who've abortions. i do not agree and that i in no way will believe abortions. this suggests killing someone. It ability homicide, even no matter if it truly is smaller or older than one month. this present day day there are any such tremendous type of contraceptive methods. They even provide loose beginning controll pills and condomns. So why do not human beings use them. they only choose now to not. this isn't prohibited by the church, in reality by its fundamentalists. As for rape, obviously that a woman does no longer opt for to save that child. yet when I were raped i'd bypass the subsequent day to the medical doctors and take those 2d days pills and be all ideal. i does no longer below any situation have an abortion. And Christ might want to condemn any such deed. yet no longer usual birth control

I agree with you that the Bible is quite vague when it comes to Jesus'd childhood. What the Bible does manage to say, is that Jesus grew up learning his father, Joseph's trade - carpentry. He was full of knowledge and had the desire to learn more about His religion. He was said to spnd time in the temples and one Bible story describes how one day, Jesus left His parents. Mary and Joseph frantically searched for Him and they finally found Him in a temple, descussing religion with the priests. The priests were appaled and amazed at this young child's knowledge.

The Levitical law stated that priesthood began at age thirty, so He could not offically start His ministry until then and be obedient to the Law. Why we are not told any more about His upbringing seems to be unknown. If it was important I am sure God would have included it. Remember the writers of the Gospels did not know Him until He was over thirty, and maybe did not want to put hearsay into the scriptures.

The gospels don't mention much of it because of the way biographies were written back then. Their main writings are almost always about the important events in the person's life and what not. Something like a childhood exerience is almost always left out no matter what ancient text it is.

Yes, there are. They are not hidden at all. They are available on the internet. The following link will take you to all the books that did not make it into the Bible. http://wwwearlychristianwriting.com/

Luke 2: 41Every year his parents went to Jerusalem for the Feast of the Passover. 42When he was twelve years old, they went up to the Feast, according to the custom. 43After the Feast was over, while his parents were returning home, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem, but they were unaware of it. 44Thinking he was in their company, they traveled on for a day. Then they began looking for him among their relatives and friends. 45When they did not find him, they went back to Jerusalem to look for him. 46After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. 47Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers. 48When his parents saw him, they were astonished. His mother said to him, "Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you."

49"Why were you searching for me?" he asked. "Didn't you know I had to be in my Father's house?" 50But they did not understand what he was saying to them.

51Then he went down to Nazareth with them and was obedient to them. But his mother treasured all these things in her heart. 52And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

Had Jesus done anything else before He was 30 that was more noteworthy than "Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor of God and men" it would have been recorded also.
