Pleuritis or pleurisy is simply an inflammation of the space between the chest wall and the lung wall. Normally the two slide easily across each other but in the presence of inflammation they can stick causing pain. When you have finished the antibiotics if you still have symptoms call the doc again. As to the other symptoms you may want to address them with your family doc or perhaps a neurologist.

doesnt sound like pleuritis to me pleuritis is the inflammation of the pleural cavity which is around the lungs - which would be respiratory - you sound like you are experiencing something neurological - which has to do with the nerves and spinal cord -you need to get a second opinion - those ER doctors dont know crap - good luck and hope you feel better soon

I thought Pluritis was a respiratory issue. AThe headache could be attributed to the oxygen count in your blood, therefore also brain. I would share more concern as to these other issues with your doctor if they did not attribute them to the pluritis, after a diagnosis of such.

I think it's spelled "pleuritis".
If this is what you mean, then it is a lung inflammation.
Try Google.
