i think when you say you cannot prove the truth with the bible, of itself, i think the individual testmonies seem to be the only kind of imperical truth. if 12 men saw jesus after he was resurrected would they indeed write it down? what about 500 people.
Ok so if you wont believe their testimony, what would it take? imperically!

Imperical evidence is that which can be repeated over and over again and will always be the same each time. So far imperically the only evidence that exists is that of the hundreds of millions of humans who have died and are only resurrected in the hearts and minds of those still living.

Eye witness testimony is the least reliable form of evidence there is. In addition the testimomies in the bible were written down about 50 years after the death of Jesus.

Two thousand years on from the event there is no evidence for it nor could there be

first you must prove he died. It was easy for yogis like JC to fake death and go into a voluntary trance to get accepted as dead and then later revive himself. (Jesus studied with the hindu yogis when he was teenager.)

He was cut down early from the cross and not left to rot there as most were. Nobody else got this treatment.

He was placed into a cool cave and revived himself and so everyone "thought' he had died and came back. He then took it on the lam and beat it out of town.

There was no doctor to certify him dead.

Many people were thought to have died and got buried alive in those days as they did not know what they were doing.

It was happening here in america less than a century ago.

We did not know then or even now how to tell if a person is dead or not dead.

Remember the terry scheivo case? if god wanted her to live, why did she die when they cut off the machine? was she already dead? what is dead?

Did Jesus "DIE" or not. That is the first question to be answered.

The only evidence you need to prove the resurrecction is in Jesus Christ Himself. When you surrender your life entirely to Him, and ask Him into your life to be Lord of your life, His Spirit will give testimony to your spirit that He is alive. And this, you don't have to prove to anyone, It is for you personally and no one will take that away from you. The gates of Hell will not prevail against you.

at the time stories about resurection were common. the time between jesus coming back to life and the accounts written was a log time, plenty of time for the story to change.

There is no way to do it now, unless you can come up with some solid physical evidence.
