i have my method of avoiding these kinda questions if i'm adding water i say half full but if i'm taking it away water i say half empty

All depends on how you view it. Like all things in life, some people view their glass as half full and some view it as half empty. Optimistic people would view it as half full, that's probally the best way to view it.

That would depend. Are you a pessimist or an optimist? A pessimist would say half empty, an optimist half full.

when drinking, it's half empty, that when she needs to get up and get you a new drink, by the time she gets back you'll figure it out that a drink shouldn't ever get below that level
