Thank you but i have done a Internet search and spent alot of time reading. The thing is its not called Homestead in every state in fact, every piece of information I have read it was called by a different name. I didnt realize it would be a difficult question . I thought I could find it on my own. Just thought Maybe someone might know a certain reference or what to look for if I wanted to go to the library. Maybe it would be something the I.R.S. would be able to answer. Just know sure exactly how to even ask or if they answer those kind of questions.

I lived in Minnesota and there it's called "Property Tax Refund." It's for everyone not just for people on "Social Security Income." You fill out a form in January and get the refund around August and the refund is for renters as well as home owners.

I accept as true with the final answerer (and definitely each and every of the others). placed it in a separate account and draw on it each and each month as mandatory. although, there is one difficulty the place i could disagree. in case you or somebody you reside with has extreme issues coping with money (addictions, that variety of component) and is possibly to 'raid' that account each and every time they desire some thing, then it extremely is to your benefit to offer all of it to the owner (presented you believe the owner to reimburse you). possibly you will be able to desire to ask the owner to place it into an escrow account and draw from it each and each month. the owner could be sympathetic in case you clarify your difficulty. i've got been in this difficulty myself so i understand that there are no solid strategies. it is not a competent decision, even though it might desire to be acceptable in case you have somebody on your loved ones who's like that.
