My friend is on Social Security Income, she lives in Wisconsin. She is able to file for what is called Wisconsin HomeStead Credit. ( Doesnt matter what kinda income you have) She gives a Certificate of Rent Paid (CRP) to her lawnlord whom fills out the form and gives it back to her. With a rent of $475.00 a month she gets back about $800.00 on her tax refund. I have tried to find a simulair program in Colorado for my Father is on Social Securty Disabled Income. I have came across the same programs for other states. Having a hard time finding the info for Colorado tho. Can you tell me if it exists or where I can go to even find out. Please and Thanks for any help you can give me :) To First answer he is not a senior. To second, Its really difficult for me to just take your word for it and say okay there aint. Its offered by alot of other states. Is there anywhere you know of I can call or Look up the answer for a second opinion :| Sorry I just need to be really positive

Thank you but i have done a Internet search and spent alot of time reading. The thing is its not called Homestead in every state in fact, every piece of information I have read it was called by a different name. I didnt realize it would be a difficult question . I thought I could find it on my own. Just thought Maybe someone might know a certain reference or what to look for if I wanted to go to the library. Maybe it would be something the I.R.S. would be able to answer. Just know sure exactly how to even ask or if they answer those kind of questions.
