You must have suicide in mind, because you probably wouldn't make it out if you tried to pick up on a Marine, me included. Nothing against gays, but the farther away from us the better. Stick to your clubs and parades, its much safer for you.

First you have to set a trap that looks like a IED or WMD. They will be on your doorstep in minutes and you can pick the "cute one"
Second, get 3 cans of RAID and shake well, spray them ALL in the loo and put both seats down for a couple of minutes.
Third, light a fag (sorry you are a BRIT) or joint with a large wooden match.
Fourth, Quickly lift the seat and sit until you are comfortable.
Fifth, drop the lighted match between your legs and prepare for liftoff.
Sixth, a squad of MARINES will show up to administer treatment.
Seventh, hit on the cute one and they will throw you down the stairs, WOOPS the stretcher broke. We must practice this again so we get it right the next time. Get loaded on the stretcher and carried up the stairs. WOOPS again. Damn! Repeat 10 TIMES!

There are of course gays in the military, but "don't ask, don't tell" aside, bad things happen to Marines who are found to be gay.
Socially ostracized for anything someone finds out, keep most of them pretty far underground from what my buddies in the Corps say.
They said one guy was found with some gay porn under his mattress in the bay and they beat the crap out of him and he eventually resigned.
Good luck on finding someone, but it ain't gonna be easy.
