I take care of my dad. He's a POW from WWII. He's 85. I used everything i had to keep him out of a Nursing Home. I lost everything I owned for doing this. I do have a car, but when dad's gone so is my car unless i pay it off. When dad's gone, the house will be locked and I'll have nowhere to go. There's not enough money to put in the bank to take care of me. It all goes on dad and his home.I can't even get my heart pills to keep me going. I just take 2 asperins a day and hope. I'm 57 and I afraid i'll be on the streets when dad's gone. It's a bad nightmare. I need help to help me pay off the car which is 4 Thousand and a little more to take care of me when dad's gone so i'm not on the street. I can't work, I stay with him 24/7. He has demention problems and other problems with the prison camp he was in. Please help me to get restarted. I already lost everything i worked for so i could care for dad and now everything is gone. I know it hard to help as alot of people have problems too.

VA has improved alot, check it out. Call and get some help. A social worker may have some options for you.
I've gone thru hit the bottom finances.
Try the drug company sites for help getting your meds.
Also, your local township should be able to help you get help thru senior services. Your dad would qualify, even help with the house problems.

Contact Catholic Charities. They can help you through and help you find a job. The Mormon church is also very generous to those in need, so you may want to contact them. Also, you can be on Medicaid and your dad on Medicare. The pharmaceutical companies that make your father's medicine may have an indigent patient program where you can sign up to get the medicines free - check their websites.

go to your local gov't building - they usually always have programs for people in your situation, and especially if your father is a WWII vet. As far as your heart pills go - try an urgent care place - that is usually where people w/ no insurance go to get help.
