dogs blow(shed) their coat 2-3 times per year, but continue to shed year round. give him a good bath and brush him with a shedding rake (talk to a local groomer they can tell you where to get one)then brush some more.

A male what. Some breeds shed more than others but most dogs have a "coat-blow" about twice a year where it seems their hair is all coming out. It's just a way of getting in new coat and is normal.

Dogs shed a lot especially when the wheather is hot. this is one way of how dogs adapt to its environment. during cold wheather, dogs hair will start to grow again to achieve thick hair to combat themselves against the cold wheather. however, there are cases when dogs shed due to fungal infection, lice manifestastion or other skin diseases that destroys the skin of the dogs causing the shedding.

Tis the season! Feed him a raw egg once or twice a week with his food. That will help him shed his old coat and improve the one coming in!

Dogs and cats generally shed their fur about twice a year. When it starts to cool down and when it starts to warm up. It's natural so that they can adjust to the temperature.

It depends on the dog, my black lab sheds alot, and she's only 6 months old. Also, it could be shedding for the weather.

the best thing is to call your vet and local animal shelter, try googling the situation to see what comes up but don't panic! just do your best and wait until the vet tells you what's going on. good luck and peace!

He's shedding his coat for the season. He is also bringing in his adult fur, if he hasn't already.
