Alright so I finally got a memory card for my digital camera, and now I want to put my new pics on my computer, but I cant figure it out! On my moms and my brothers cameras they just have to press a button on the camera and the pictures will load onto the computer, but mine doesn't do that! I put the software that came with the camera onto my computer and I cant seem to find it, I installed it twice and still nothing. So I go onto My Computer and at the very bottom it says Scanners and Cameras were it has my brother Kodak Easy Share there, my HP Scanner and then it says Pentax Optio E10 Video Camera (which is my camera) and I click on it and then it makes my camera like a webcam sorta and I can take pictures from my computer. But it doesn't say anything about the pictures that are on my digital camera, I dont get it! Could someone please help me out. Its a Pentax E10 model and yes I have all the cords plugged into my computers usb port.

Well if you have a memory card, then your computer has to have a card reader. This is a reader where you would stick the memory card in a slot and from there your camera would read it like if it was a drive.

So if you do not have the card reader you need to get one. You use SD memory cards. FYI, go on the internet and they got some good cheap 4GB cards for sale cheap. Anyway, your camera is pictbridge compatible. What this means is you buy a printer with a pictbridge, you can just set your camera in it and it will download your pics. I would think that maybe you need a cord to go from your camera to the computer to load the internal pictures. Definitely, you need a card reader to put your SD memory card in. The card reader is plugged in to the computer.
