You have them for no sleeping well enough and being tired. Get some rest and you should be back to normal really soon.

Omg, same goes for me!!! I have this horrible eye circles even though i sleep at least 8 hours a day. I've tried tea bags and got bored of it... but i think it did help a little bit. Also be careful when applying mosturizers on the eye area, you have to be really x10 gentle because u may break some capillaries and you'll get a black eye. I'm trying that now atm. Please someone help us.

hi hon, you don't say your age, cuecumber for tired eyes, raw potatoe slices for bags under the eyes, but purple not too sure, but its not the lack of sleep, have you had a medical kidneys, or something. underneath the skin is very thin, don't rub under your eyes hard, just pat them.try L'oreal revitalift. if it dosen't work. it will make you feel better, good luck coral

I have a serious problem with black underneath my eyes...it has gotten to the point where it wasn't even purple any more so I went to my doctor and he called them "allergy shiners" and told me to take the vitamin B Complex! it works great for me so far!

Your skin is thinner there and so the blood vessels show through. My doctor told me so!
I've had mine forever, you can't get rid of them unfortunatly.
I always look like I have two black eyes so don't worry about!
My best advice, get a good concealor.
I use www.benefitcosmetics.com for their concealors.
They blend in well and stay on so the dark circles are gone gone gone!
You gotta accept yourself and move on dollie! There are much more important things in life then dark circles.
I just laugh it off when people ask "did you get punched in the face?"

some people are prone to purple (or brown ) under their eyes. it's just too many little blood vessels under the skin...get a YELLOW cover stick at the store ( yellow and purple make brown) and use a LITTLE to cover the purple. (if it bothers you that much)
The green cover sticks are for RED. (zits, etc...red and green make brown)

I'm not sure why, but you can cover them up with foundation or coverup that matches your skintone.
