My ex-boyfriend dumped me a year ago, yet last week he called me and asked me to go see a movie with him. I went with him, he picked me up & after the movie he just took me home.On the drive home, when I asked him why he wanted to see me, he said that he wants to see me 'every once in awhile'. Why does he wanna hang out and see me once in awhile, when we only dated for one month? By the way, we never had sex during our relationship cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. We would cuddle, kiss, hug, & hold hands, it was a pure & beautiful thing. Even AFTER he ended it, he would still say hi to me on msn, so we did communicate during this yr. albeit only by msn. We just never met up & he never called me until that day he asked to go see a movie, after the yr. Did he just miss me or does he have bad intentions? He's in Asia now, but comes back in one month. Should I ask for coffee one time, but just as friends? He's 26 & more experienced while I'm 21 & he was my first bf.

He has LOTS of friends so I know he's not lonely so does he really wanna be friends with someone he use to kiss & cuddle? What does he get out of seeing me every once in awhile? Is he planning on something?

dont listen to the idiots that just commented, they probably didnt even read your whole question right, but thats a common guy thing. Anyway, this guy probably still has feelings for you, or he may just respect you and your decision to save sex for marriage, so he might think your a smart girl and wants to hear your opinion or outlook on his problems/questions. btw, good thinking on the saving sex thing. Guys respect that in a girl and your not the only one out there, trust me!

Considering that he is you EX, and only wants to see you ONCE IN A WHILE as FRIENDS--do not let any benefits get into the friendship.

Maybe he actually is considering marrying you at some point--and still thinks that you only cuddle, hold hands, etc. Don't give anything up for him unless you actually do marry him.

I wouldn't start thinking he has bad intentions unless you have a specific reason. It sounds to me like he just missed you and wants to be friends. Especially if he didn't indicate any romantic desires/intentions. As guys mature, some actually do start to think with more than their penis.

Unless you feel uncomfortable with the situation, I would go with it.

Well its difficult to understand men!!! but something is for sure, SEX is always on their minds...!!! but he knows you wont give him that cuz you are saving yourself for your husband...maybe he is realizing you are a good girl, and knows what he lost, but he is not ready for commitment but wants you to be part of his life for "wherever he is ready" in any case, you should wait for him to call you, let him show you how much interest in you he has, and what he really wants from you, and please, dont ask him what he wants or expects from you, let him show you with his actions, and if you still want him, maybe you will end up together again! Good Luck!!!

Sometimes with men they really like a challenge to see if they can get you to change your mind, if you know what I mean. Perhaps he has had a change of heart and really misses you. If he does then I would make him wait, and if he still pursues you, then he has good intentions. I wish you loads of luck!!

he's 26. there is a world of difference in experience. just be up front with him and tell him you need space and see what happens. personally, i'm a guy and whenever i did this, i was hoping for a "booty call".

good luck on discovering your answer.

He may want to renew old acquaintances but doesn't know how to go about it. Ask him to stop by and have a cup of coffee when he comes by your way. Good luck and God bless you.

coming from a guy, he probably wants to get closer and closer to you until he thinks he can ask you back out. he could just be doing it for sex, or he really does like you. but it's really your call
