Headaches have a wide variety of causes, ranging from eye strain, sinusitis, migraine and tension to life-threatening conditions such as encephalitis, meningitis, cerebral aneurysms and brain tumors (although more than 95% of headaches are not life-threatening). When the headache occurs in conjunction with a head injury the cause is usually quite evident; however, many causes are more unclear. The most common type of headache is a tension headache. Some experience headaches when dehydrated, or suffering from caffeine withdrawal symptoms. Headaches may also be caused in some people by certain foods, such as peanuts, or food additives, such as tartrazine

Theres a few things that can cause headaches. Stress, bright lights, allergies, loud noises and even some foods can cause headaches. If youve ever had a accident and had a injury to your head that can also cause headaches. I've had constant headaches everyday for the past 12 years. I take BC powders, which are not very good for you but they do work. If headaches are a problem for you talk to your doctor and ask him about a prescription called "Fiorcets". They are for headaches. I use them when I feel a headache coming on, and they take my headache away for about 2 days.
Hope this helps.

Headaches are often caused by the contriction of blood vessels in the brain. This constriction can be caused by chemical reactions or muscle constrictions, such as muscles found around the neck and the temporal regions of the brain. The nerves can become restricted as well, causing pain behind the eyeball.

One should be very cautious when taking acetaminophen. It should only be taken for no more than two weeks at a time. One should never ever mix acetaminophen with alcohol, which can cause irreversable liver damage in some people.

Many people have headaches for different reasons. Lots of people don't drink enough water, that is the most common cause. Another is not having a balanced diet...electrolytes are out of balance. You need to take a multivitamin and mineral suppliment every day along with eating a well balanced diet. People that deprive themselves of food get really bad headaches because their blood sugar drops and the body reacts with a headache. Eat small frequent healthy meals and snacks every day to prevent them. There is stress headaches too and migraines which can be caused by many things from like stress, food allergies and you can also heve headaches if your eyes are strained because you need glasses. If it isn't a problem that you can figure out and fix you need to see a DR.
