Try to drink more water and stay away from too much salt, sugar and caffine. However, if you drink caffine regularly and have recently cut back drastically - say, for a new year resolution - your headaches might be caused by the lack of caffine in your system.
Try stretching your neck and shoulders frequently, or at least after you wake up and before you go to bed.
Try some self-massage, at you temples and all over your scalp, on your shoulders and neck. Or better yet, get someone else to do it, like a significant other or a massage therapist.
Are you getting enough sleep? Too much sleep? Ad are you very stressed at work and in your daily life? Smog and pollution may factor in to it also.
It could be anything. A lot of times headaches are due to dehydration, stress, and improper diets. If your headaches are a part of your routine life, you should definately go to a doctor about it.

Some forms of headache may be amenable to preventative treatment, such as migraine. On the whole, long-term use of painkillers is discouraged as this may lead to "rebound headaches" on withdrawal. Caffeine, a vasoconstrictor, is sometimes prescribed or recommended, as a remedy or supplement to pain killers in the case of extreme migraine. This has led to the development of Tylenol Ultra, a paracetamol/caffeine analgesic. One popular herbal preventive treatment for migraines is Feverfew. Magnesium, Vitamin B2, and Coenzyme Q10 are "natural" supplements that have shown some efficacy for migraine prevention

Many allergy specialists say reducing the amount of sugar in your diet. I had that problem in high school so I gave up drinking soda and cutting back on candy and my headaches went away. 9 years later I rarely get one. Increasing water intake might also benefit you given the nature of the human body. If they persist you should see a doctor.

Our medical office has really been stressful lately due to a heavy patient load and understaffed......what I do is get up from desk and walk around a minute.....breathe deep for a few times, bend head up and down to stretch you neck some as in an exercise
adjust your chair you sit in all day .......all this is in case you work
I also take medicine to prevent migraines....Good Luck

Eating healthy and staying hydrated. For headaches i reccomend excedrin, moist heat or cool damp cloth, depends on your needs. Possibly a trip to the doctor for further help.

It depends what kind of headaches you are having. They could be from your enviroment, stress, lighting, or pretty much anything. First you have to figure out what triggers the headache

Drink lots of water throughout the day.
Make sure you don't go to sleep with the central heating on.
And make sure that you breath through your nose and not through your mouth.
