Not so wierd, but dangerous. The 16-year-old is jailbait--the 23 year-old can be charged with statutory rape. Additionally, the 23 year old is far more experienced than a naive 16-year-old. Maybe they both do truly love each other--but they are playing with fire.

Yes, that's wrong. 16 years old is still a child in most states, and that's considered pedophilia.
And no 16 year old can possibly know what TRUE love is...
I would wonder what kind of 23 year old girl would want to go out with a 16 year old boy.

It's not the 16 year old boy that's weird it's the woman who is weird! That's sexual abuse no matter how much they "love" or "want" each other. Sixteen year old boys love anything that has breasts and a vagina. The woman is clearly abusing her age and sexuality. It's sad.
The question is: What would a 23 year-old woman want from a 16 year-old boy?

I do think it's weird. They're too young for that big of an age difference. If they were both ten years older, I wouldn't be worried.
Most importantly, legally he's a child and she is an adult.
I never dated the kids that I babysat...

It depends on who you are and where you;re from. Some things that I may find odd may not appear that way to a person from Arkansas.
So I would say that that it is not weird but it may be illegal. They have to check state laws.

Yes, just because she is an adult, and he isn't. Just sounds weird. But if he was at least 18, it wouldn't be so bad. Are they having sex? If they are its would be that kind of minor and adult sex. I forget what its called. But I won't try to judge them. I won't be the one to deny TRUE love. But it really isn't our place ot judge or pass judgement.TECHNICALLY ITS NOT ILLEGAL. Only if they are having sex.
