What does it mean if your bf or gf says they'll call back and never does?

Don't you hate it when they say they'll call you back and never do??What does it mean??Did they get busy or is there so meone else??

I too experience that. I also have that problem with a friend of mine, when ever she say "i'll call you" she never does. lol, now we just make a joke of it.

she:"i'll call you"
me:"no you wont"
she:"lol, shut up"


to be honest that is one of my biggest pet peve, i hate it when someone say they will call but they are a no show. how much energy does it take to call a person back?

But in ur case, you have to see what his life style is like. Is he a busy man? does he work? who else is he taking care of? who knows. have you talk to him about it? Have you told him how it makes you feel when u dont get a call from him once he "promise" to call you back.

In any realtionship, both party have to understand one another. Dont asume he knows what you are thinking of, because from a guy point of view, we can not read mind.

thank god that there is somebody out there who hates the same thing i hate!

there is a guy (not exactly bf) whenever we talked on the phone, he would say "I'll call u back" if he had to go, then there is no answer until 24 hours or more past. I really hate. when i ask him whats with him, he keep saying that sometimes he forgets it. one day he said, "why don't u call me instead of waiting for me to cal?"
why would i call him when he is the one who has to go and said he'll call me back?

i just hate it whenever pp say something and not doing it for some reason no matter how big the reason is! they r just being careless! it doesn't take 5 mint to call back and say "I'm busy".

I had a boyfriend who used to do that... he would call me out of the blue one night while he was away at college, and I would say "why are you calling??" cuz I would be so shocked, and he would try to make me feel guilty... then sometimes he would say "I'll call you back in 15 minutes" and then 2 weeks later he calls. One time he didn't call me or get in touch for so long I assumed we'd just broken up and I got a new boyfriend (who I'm now engaged to) and he called one night while my new man was at my house. I was totally shocked, and needless to say he has never called me back. The nerve of some people.

Lol...........i usualy dont jump into the conclusion that its someone else......... maybe thats ur clue right there. That you're maybe alwyas thinking hes cheating or something?...... but I mean it usually doesnt phase me cuz I dont ever have to call him back either as long as hes not calling me back. Cuz he'll call you eventually. At the same time he doesnt want a girl who is always on his *** hunting him ..... so just wait he'll do it. Now if 3 days pass by DONT even call him either cuz he said he'd call you and you should stick to that word. So if he doesnt call you then I guess he isnt interested. Im not gonna hunt a guy, like just recently a guy said he'd call me back and then like 5 days passed by I didnt call him not once......cuz i just assumed he wasnt intrested in me anymore...then he finally called me back and was like I havent talked to you in a while and its ur fault...im like excuse me..im not the one who said id call ya back.
