Wrap them in plastic wrap and use popcorn as a cushion. It's lightweight, shock absorbing and edible!

if you have access to a cryvac machine that would be great but if not some small zip lock bags and packaged in a box, I liked the other persons suggestion of popcorn light and shock absorbing. This should keep postage to a minimum. Other wise an assortmanet of plastic food containers like chinese food comes in which can be packed into the box securely.

Use Air-Tight containers, the cakes & brownies won't dry out. The grocery stores sell disposable ones. Fold serving size cakes and brownies, in wax paper. You might find round tins at Wal-Mart, in the clearense dept. Or stores like it. If bubble wrap is too expensive in your area, use newspapers for packing the containers.

I have recieved food that has been shipped from the states to the Middle East. The ones that I recieved that were in the best condition were placed in standard shipping box in sandwich bags and packaged with other items such as papper, pencil and things like that. with papper to fill in spaces making a tight fit.
