My hair is the same. I use Paul Mitchell Supersculpt when I wanna scrunch it and make it curly. When I want it straight I let it air dry (to prevent damage) and use a straightening Iron. I also use a boar bristle brush to slick it back in a ponly tail or bun often. Just try different products to see what you like best. I suggest salon brands of shampoo & conditioner (I use Biolage). Those seem to bring out my hair's best qualities.

That's how my hair is. I say Wavy. We are very lucky in my mind. We can have it wavy, straight or curly that looks natural with a little help from ceramic.:)

your best bet would be to try blow-drying it after you wash it. if you're not into that, then I would just straighten it because that's easier than curling all the wavy & straight parts.
