My ex-boyfriend dumped me a year ago, yet last week he called me and asked me to go see a movie with him. I went with him, he picked me up & after the movie he just took me home.On the drive home, when I asked him why he wanted to see me, he said that he wants to see me 'every once in awhile'. Why does he wanna hang out and see me once in awhile, when we only dated for one month? By the way, we never had sex during our relationship cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. We would cuddle, kiss, hug, & hold hands, it was a pure & beautiful thing. Even AFTER he ended it, he would still say hi to me on msn, so we did communicate during this yr. albeit only by msn. We just never met up & he never called me until that day he asked to go see a movie, after the yr. Did he just miss me or does he have bad intentions? He's in Asia now, but comes back in one month. Should I ask for coffee one time, but just as friends? He's 26 & more experienced while I'm 21 & he was my first bf.

He has LOTS of friends so I know he's not lonely so does he really wanna be friends with someone he use to kiss & cuddle? What does he get out of seeing me every once in awhile? Is he planning on something?

He might just be keeping his options open. Just because he has lots of friends doesn't mean he doesn't get lonely. Maybe he wants someone he really connects with. Nothing wrong with that. I don't think he has ulterior motives. If you want to be friends with him, go for it. I don't see you losing too much by doing that except a boring night or two. I would be wary of kissing him or anything because if he tries that, he's either hoping it will lead to more or seeing how far you'll go to get him back (ie sex). Just play it by ear.

He wants to play the field, but still keep you hanging just in case he can't find anyone else more intriguing.

girl.........you need to stop thinking about this situation so much! you're gonna drive yourself crazy.........not to mention the rest of us....
have you thought about just asking him his intentions point-blank? don't be scared, just do it already....I don't think he's comin online in here to do it for ya......

maybe he misses being with you... ask him out sometime...do what you want, if you just want to be friends, then that's alright...
