i agree that you should complain in writing about the delays. is there any way you can order her medication sooner? if you know they are a week late, order the medication a week sooner. im sure switching from the VA isn't an option since i'm sure they are saving you alot of money. i hope this helps

I go to the VA myself, and I get my prescriptions from there as well. The Los Angeles VA has a telephone number for the pharmacy that you can call and refill the prescription at any time. You call the pharmacy number that is on the bottle, and use their automated refill option. My suggestion to you is to try calling before the meds run out. They say it can take up to 10 working days to get the meds out. Personally, I have never had to wait that long. Maybe a week at the most. You can also set up an automatic refill as well. Usually they give you a 30 day supply. (Depends on the meds of course) But, at the 15 day mark, place your order....Serioulsy, I think it's just a timing issue.

It depends on where you live, but some of our congress people can be contacted to help out getting the VA on the ball. There are actually some who care about our veterans more than they do about illegal aliens.

I am not sure what is VA -- but a COMPLAINT to some TOP MOST LEVEL folks in that org should help you get over this problem.

Best of luck with your wife -- hope she is doing well.

are you waiting until she is on her last pill to order it? have found most of our patients wait till the bottle is empty then call in saying oops..I have to come in I am out of medicine....so try ordering a bit earlier see if that doesn't work
