yes, iran and north korea has nuclear capability... but they wont succeed in getting richer if they use it, even if they use it to threaten others... some country, on the other hand, can use it. in fact, they used it some time back... other countries have nuclear capability as well, but you don't hear of them...
so my answer is, yes...
but the more important thing that you should be worried about is, when is the next natural disaster coming? and where will be its target?
nuclear wars, there is still a possible solution... but for nature's wrath, no man can tame :(

Just because they want to have or will have the capability does not automatically mean they are wanting to use it. I believe its a case of getting it to be a deterrent against the big guys and considering the agression of Bush against and the ensuing destruction of Iraq it is understandable. These countries know that the main Superpowers have more war machine power than they do and the only ace for them to stop any aggression is nuclear capability. Before the danger of being nuked in the future-the biggest and very real threat is global warming.

Anything is a possibility, but this is almost a definite. The question is, "How far in the future?" I think we are safe in the near future, but there will definitely be someone crazy and brazen enough to start a war and use nuclear weapons. History does repeat itself and while there has never been more than one nation who used nuclear weapons in a war, there will most certainly be more wars before this planet and civilization dies. Wars aren't a thing of the past, people fight, it's what we do. It's sad, but it's true.

yes ,there is a possibility. All countries are preparing for nuclear war by developing nuclear weapon,If they are asked for this then the answer would be their protection. Why everyone want to protect them self.?why not humanity.everyone knows the effects of second world war in Hiroshima and Nagasaki till date.we hear everyday on our news channels about the countries which are fighting with each other and killing countless people everyday So i can say the day is not so far when the nuclear war will start. In the end i want to say that we should learn from our history .

HelyaH! But I hopeit won't happen! SOme countries like the smaller countries in the world might already have nuclear bombs in their country but they never tell to the whole world because of maybe lack of communication or something. Then when the nuclear war began in the future this small nations would join the fight which is very scary and very dangerous for everyone! THank God we're doing something to stop it!!

Unlikely.
Most countries that reach 'nuclear club' status have also access to economic ressources which go with that status. Nuclear weapons, since their first use against Japan, are mostly dissuasive weapons. No one is crazy enough to use them first, considering that nuclear wrath from one or several other countries is a certainty. Using them is the equivalent of national suicide.
North Korea may be crazy enough to use them (they have a Dr. Evil-like behavior, give use billions or we bomb you type) but there are serious doubts about their capacity (their one test bomb was barely big enough to qualify as atomic; it is highly possible that it failed, meaning, there was no atomic fission).
As for Iran, its capacity to transform Israel into a parking lot would be more than matched by Israel's capacity to transform most surrounding countries into nuclear wastes. And already Iran is preparing to negociate with other countries from its new status.
Dangerous situations would exist in case two opposing nations have a different status, one having, and one not having, giving the opportunity to strike unpunished (after negociation with countries which are allied with its ennemy).

Look at history. Which is the only country to ever use nuclear weapons in war? Which country has the most nuclear weapons in its arsenal? Which country has generals who only get promoted to that rank if they have been in a war?
Now, what was your question??

no country will dare to use nuclear bomb as every country now has that capabilty.it would be foolish to destroy each other.future wars will be very very short and everyone will be trying to impose maximum damage without using nukes.
But atomic scientist watchdog have changed the doomsday clock two minutes to midnight, 2 days back. That clock is a measure of how much world is closer to total destruction.if that clock is changd to 12 'o clock, that means our world faces a real danger of nuclear war.

No, it is not a possibility, it is a certainty. We just don't know when, or who or why. We only know that when fools let fools govern them, little problems can grow into bigger problems, and big problems can grow into disasters. Look at WW1, the war nobody thought could happen, that nobody wanted, and that eventually destroyed Europe and killed millions. I hope in the future, others will be putting the Iraq war into the WW1 category, but at this point only God knows.
