So you wanna be a doctor and have a sick mom....well got to her side. My diagnosis is that school will always be an option and considering how upset you are by this situation you are wasting your time at school as evidenced but the spelling in your question. Doctors need to be very detailed orientated and you should have read and hit spell check before posting this.

Maybe you should talk to your Professors about the situation, they will help you get back in track with the lessons you’ve missed if you go out there to see your mom. But I don’t think none of your siblings would be able to do anything to bring your mom or the comfort back to you if you just miss her last wish. Is your career more important than the person who brought you up so you can follow this career which both of you’ll have been dreaming of??????? That is something you should decide I guess.

Sounds like the flu..do you have a Dr. where you are going to school? If worse comes to worse, then go to the ER. You don't have to pay at the time of service, and when you do get your bill, you can always pay it out in installments. If I were you, I would go to a Dr. if your fever got any higher. You definitely need anitbiotics if it's a bacterial infection, but if it's the flu then unfortunately you just have to ride it out and treat the symptoms. Good luck!

You only have one mom and if shes (sick) as in dieing, you better go see her. You have to think back to all she has done for you, I mean if she was a good mother. Its not easy giving birth and taking care of a defenseless baby and then through out all the years you grew up. I think she deserves you there.

you should stay there and finish the school but you can perhaps talk to her daily on computer or even perhaps get a webcam so that you can talk that way. Make sure one of your family keeps you updated as to how she is doing so that when and if she becomes terminal you could fly out for her last moments and not deprive either of you of that moment.
you might also talk to a counselor at school to see if there in any way you could transfer to a school in california temporarily to finish school and still be near her.

cant believe your even questioning it. Your mother wants you there she is trying to be nice because you are selfish and worried about school.. If you just tell them your situation then they will work with you. Your mother is sick she doesn't want to be alone and if she is getting the family together there is a reason adn you need to go.

Remember, you can always retake a test or a course but family is here for a limited time. Thats why when all of my friends ell at their parents for not being perfect, I appreciate mine and tell them how much I care for them. Hope all turns out well.

well, i suggest you better write to the school administration about your mom's condition and i know they can understand it.
then go to your mom. A mom is more precious than anything in this world especially her love for her child. Go to her, tell her you love her, and thank her for your life and for everything you learned.
after that, you can back to your college and proceed anything you missed and move on to other lessons your professor is discussing.

I think you'll have to do what your MOM wishes. She sacrificed for you and probably doesn't want you to risk that sacrifice. I hope is doing better.

If she is ready to die you need to go. If she is just sick then stay in school.
