no tha hairwill grow back. hair follicles are in a lower dermal layer in your skin than where the ink from your tattoo rests. if you plan on having it removed do so before your tattoo. otherwise the hairy upkeep is your own problem after you have it. Ive known guys shave everyday to keep their tattoos visible, and ive seen others that you can barely see under the forest growing over them. If it didnt grow back i'd get both my legs done lol!!

I'm not 100 percent sure, but I think that the hair will still grow right up thru the tattoo. So yeah I think that you might have to shave it. I have never gotten a tattoo where there is hair!

no a tatto will not prevent hair from growing, unless it is done poorly and the area heals with a scar - hair will not grow on scar tissue. any respectable tattoo artist would NEVER have this happen, but i have seen it with home made tattoo guns and weekend tattoo artists. just make sure and use a reputable artist and you will be fine!!

yes hair still comes back.I have a tat on my leg and i have to shave the area just the same as the rest of my legs

No, your hair continues to grow in the area where you had the tattoo. One resolution for this is to have electrolysis and have the hair removed.

it grows back. when i got a tat on my leg the only actual time i had pain was when the hair was growing back cause it would itch and i would get little stings. when my tat finally healed i was happy to shave them b-i-t-c-h-e-s off.

silly silly silly, but seriously. yes. everytime no matter what, it grows back. i would be rich if a tattoo would make hair go away. just imagine gettin the same color as your skin over your unibrow or upper lip, eh ladies. it would be great but no. sorry. it grows back.

i have one on my ankle and yes you do have to shave tattooing doesnt damage the hair follicles
